The Northeast headquarters of a national technology services provider is looking to hire a Facility Maintenance and Building Management leader for its North Jersey office campus.
What you’ll be doing…
Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and security for headquarter buildings and grounds.
Schedule maintenance and monitor emergency power systems.
Manage improvement projects, moves, building services, and third party contractors.
Train, manage performance and schedule exempt & non-exempt maintenance employees.
Responsible for departmental budgets and expenses.
What you need to do the job…
4+ years of related facility management experience including hands on building maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Maintenance Reports and Management Reports.
Nice to have, but not required…
Basic understanding of hand and power tools, general HVAC, electrical, and plumbing workings.
Write routine reports, correspondence, speak effectively to customers.
Calculate figures and amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
