The Northeast headquarters of a national technology services provider is looking to hire a Facility Maintenance and Building Management leader for its North Jersey office campus.

What you’ll be doing…

•         Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and security for headquarter buildings and grounds.

•         Schedule maintenance and monitor emergency power systems.

•         Manage improvement projects, moves, building services, and third party contractors.

•         Train, manage performance and schedule exempt & non-exempt maintenance employees.

•         Responsible for departmental budgets and expenses.

What you need to do the job…

•         4+ years of related facility management experience including hands on building maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.

•         Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Maintenance Reports and Management Reports.

Nice to have, but not required…

•         Basic understanding of hand and power tools, general HVAC, electrical, and plumbing workings.

•         Write routine reports, correspondence, speak effectively to customers.

•         Calculate figures and amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

•         Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
